Oh to be in Nashville today...

I got a call last night from some good friends who were going to be in Nashville today. They wanted to know if I could meet them for breakfast...but sadly I couldn't. Instead I have to be at school today to do some stuff...and it's not that I don't want to be here, it's just that I would have loved to see them. So, it is sad... I really wish I could have, I would have even driven the 3 hours without a thought... but nope I'm here at school... being responsible, and doing what I said I would do.

Funny thing is that last night I had a dream that I was suppose to do something, plan something, organize something for school - and something happened and I completely ignored what I was suppose to do. Not usually like me... but then I got back and people were upset at me for not doing what I was suppose to, it wasn't very good. So I guess, I really did want to find someone else to do this stuff this morning, but there wasn't anyone since it was for one of my classes. So, here I am, enjoying my Saturday morning.... at school.

In other news, things are going fine, it's just busy - the end of the year is approaching. My seniors take their AP exam in about 2 1/2 weeks, so we are trying to finish up things. In my other classes, we are ahead of where I was last year - so I have to find some new things to do and learn...which is good, but unexpected. And in 2 weeks I get to take 100 students to the zoo. I enjoy organizing things...but it gets a bit tiring after a while. I was also told that yesterday that I am doing a good job. Doesn't seem like it would mean much, but some times you just need someone to say so.

That's about all... summer's almost here...and I'm excited to go home.
